Today I want to share with you my skincare tips, which I discovered during the years trying to keep my skin look as good as possible. I think only rare women have really super clear skin, but we can all do something to keep it the best we can.
I personally don’t like to use too many products on my skin, and if I do I always go for the most natural solutions possible. My skin tends to get dry, especially if I travel a lot, and it’s sensitive at the same time. That’s why I have to hydrate it a lot and be gentle as I can.
My daily routine consists of Kiehl’s range that I picked for hydration and good cleanse. I like their products because they are gentle and leave my skin soft. First thing I do in the morning is washing my face with Ultra facial cleanser and then I hydrate it with Avocado eye cream and Ultra facial lotion. I chose the oil free lotion because I really don’t like the oily feeling which comes out on the face in the afternoon. My favourite one is the eye cream, it feels great on the eyes and I just love applying it. Then when it comes to makeup, I wear heavy makeup when I shoot, so in my free time I prefer to keep my skin clean and let it breathe. If I do have makeup to remove in the evening, my absolute favourite is Bioderma micellar water. It is amazing because it is super light on the skin and it removes makeup really well. After that I will use Kiehl’s cleanser one more time and at the end I apply Cucumber toner.
Besides taking care of the skin on daily basis, there are some other things I do now and then, and my favourite trick for the skin is use of etheric oils. Only two oils that are safe to apply directly on the skin are lavender and tea tree oil and I love to use them both. Tea tree oil saves me a lot when I get a breakout. You just have to put a drop on the problematic area before sleep, and by the morning it should all be gone. If needed, repeat the process on the second night again. And lavender oil is great to calm the skin, I use it when I get irritated from wearing heavy makeup or when I travel a lot. I just apply few drops on it all over my face and I feel great when I wake up the next morning. Btw, lavender oil is great for calming down in general, so if you have problems falling asleep this should do the trick 🙂
Other things I do is steaming my face like two times per month and also watching my diet and drink a lot of water, but you have heard that like million times till now I guess 🙂
